Charlie - D2024036

Male Dog aged Adult.

Charlie is a sweet and resilient young dog with Cerebellar Hypoplasia, a condition that makes him a wobbly on his feet, but it doesn’t stop him from enjoying life! His muscle control is improving, though he will still wobble and stumble especially when excited. He will also be undergoing cataract surgery prior to adoption to help preserve his eyesight.

Charlie has learned his name, has great recall, and walks well on a lead. While initially cautious around strangers, he warms up quickly. He has been living with two other dogs, but slow introductions are needed. He’s also comfortable around a chicken coop and can be left unsupervised near it.

Affectionate with his family—especially kids—Charlie loves playtime, toys, and all kinds of food. He’s happiest when he’s with his people and thrives in a home where he won’t be left alone too often. He’s also getting used to playing with toys and entertaining himself.

Charlie would do best with a patient family who understands his his special needs and can provide him with lots of love, cuddles, and reassurance. He’s ready to fill your life with joy!
