Find your next companion

Banjo and Baxter | Small paws, new beginnings

Meet Banjo and Baxter, two puppies new to SAFE Goldfields! Their photo collection is a work in progress, with better pictures coming soon, but we couldn’t wait to introduce them.

They’re settling into foster care with a loving family, and we’re getting to know their individual personalities and needs. We’ll share more as they find their paws.

Like all puppies, they’ll need patient guidance, gentle training and plenty of opportunities to learn about the world.

Interested in welcoming Banjo or Baxter into your family? Submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet. SAFE is foster based, so we don’t have a shelter to visit, but meeting your next companion is easy to arrange!

Pudding – A Little Sweetness, a Lot of Puppy Fun

Meet Pudding, an adorable pup currently in foster care with a loving family, learning about home life and ready to find a family to call his own.

Pudding is still settling in, so we are discovering more about his personality each day. What we already know is that he is playful, curious and full of puppy energy. Every day brings something new to sniff, explore or turn into a game!

His foster family is helping him learn routines and build confidence. Like all puppies, Pudding will need ongoing training, patience and gentle guidance as he grows. There is plenty of fun ahead, along with the usual puppy mischief.

Because Pudding lives in foster care, we can share what we know about his personality and needs to help you decide whether he is a good match for your household.

Ready to meet this sweet little character? Submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet. SAFE does not have a shelter you can visit, but meeting and adopting an animal in our care is easy to arrange.
Pudding’s next chapter could start with you!

Looking for a permanent foster home

💙 Steph has plenty of spring in her step!

At 12 years old, Steph is young at heart, highly social and ready to make friends. Walks, dog park outings and a paddle in the pool are all on her list of favourite things!

Steph bonds easily with a loving human and enjoys the company of other dogs. She especially loves puppies, patiently tolerating their antics while offering a gentle telling-off if play gets too rough.

She’s obedient, responds well to voice cues and is a quick learner. She’s already mastered the dog door and the stairs onto the bed. Previously used to living outside, Steph is quickly discovering the comforts of indoor life. She rather likes this luxury upgrade!

Steph is currently carrying excess weight, but she’s adjusting well to a healthy diet. Her new family can help her continue making steady progress with support from SAFE.

Now in foster care with a loving family through SAFE Goldfields, Steph is looking for a permanent foster home, ideally in Kalgoorlie, where she can enjoy companionship and be included as part of the family.

You provide a loving home, everyday care and companionship. Steph remains a SAFE dog, with SAFE covering her approved veterinary care and providing ongoing support.

Foster care is helping us get to know Steph’s personality and needs, so we can support a suitable match. Permanent fostering is a long-term commitment, and this lovely girl still has walks to enjoy, friends to meet and comfy beds to claim.

🐾 Could you be Steph’s person? Email goldfields@safe.org.au to learn more and arrange a meet and greet. SAFE is foster based, so there is no shelter to visit, but meeting Steph is easy to arrange.

Sunny: Ginger, Giggles and Galloping Zoomies!

📍 Kalgoorlie | Owner-assisted adoption | Adoption for a donation to SAFE

Sunny is a loving ginger boy with a collection of wonderfully silly quirks. He is deaf and must live indoors only, where he can safely enjoy his naps, playtime and bedtime cuddles.

Sunny’s soundtrack is entirely his own! His unusual meow has been lovingly described as somewhere between a shout and a peacock call. Add his evening zoomies, complete with galloping feet and funny little noises, and you have a cat with plenty of character.

By day, Sunny takes his relaxation seriously. You might find him sleeping face down on the couch or curled up in his cat bed, blissfully unaware of everyone arriving home. At bedtime, his softer side shines through: he loves to snuggle, make biscuits and gently suckle on a hand or finger.

Sunny would suit a home with younger, playful cats who enjoy a good wrestle. He has a happy, playful relationship with the younger cat in his current home, but has been chasing and fighting with the older cats. His family is seeking a home where his enthusiasm for play is a better match, with gradual introductions to any resident cats.

Sunny is desexed, microchipped and fully vaccinated, and reliably uses his litter tray.

This is an owner-assisted adoption, so Sunny remains with his loving family while SAFE helps him find a suitable home. His family can share valuable insight into his personality, routines and needs.

If Sunny sounds like your kind of companion, submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet. Adoption is for a donation to SAFE.
